Hi my name is Thea and I am the owner of
DOGS@HEART - Fundamentals for Families
I enjoyed 13 years and 10 months with my first family dog Bear. Sadly he went to heaven on Friday 15th July 2022.  Bear was an awesome companion for my children as they grew up and he made some special doggie friendships in his years along the way.  The saddest of which was when his best mate Chester passed away and left our family with a huge hole in our hearts.  So along came Zeus our now 4 1/2 year old Doberman and boy he has taught me a thing or three!  
Zeus was nothing like Bear and I had a lot to learn, so he inspired me to study and to be a better advocate for him.
I also have a strong community connection and I would like  to see life in parks and out in the community improve for our canine companions.   This is achievable through education.
I believe if we start teaching our younger generation about responsible dog ownership then this will flow into future generations.
I am a qualified IMDT Dog Trainer and I currently volunteer my time to the Albany All Breeds Dog Club teaching Pet Dog Skills Foundations.
I hold a Working with Children, National Police Clearance and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
